Macy is certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), a therapeutic listening program based on Polyvagal Theory created by Dr. Stephen Porges. Through passive listening SSP works to regulate the nervous system, reduce stress and auditory sensitivity, while enhancing social engagement and resilience to attain a grounded state in which one feels safe and calm.
